What This Site Is
BYUward is a ward website and management platform used by YSA (Young Single Adult) wards to share a calendar, schedule appointments with leaders, manage callings, maintain a member directory, run surveys, and share activity photos. Each ward has its own site; content on one ward's site is managed by that ward's own leaders and members.
Accounts & Access
- Portal (leader/management) accounts are created and managed by ward leadership.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- Some pages (e.g. photo uploads, rideshare, prayer requests) may be used without an account; those submissions may be reviewed before appearing publicly.
Use of the Site
- You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes related to ward activities and communication.
- You may not attempt to interfere with the site's security or functionality.
- You may not upload content that is unlawful, harassing, or that you do not have the right to share.
Photos & Submitted Content
Content you submit (such as activity photos, survey responses, or prayer/ride requests) may be visible to other members of your ward, and to ward leaders for review and moderation. Submissions from users who are not logged in are held for a leader's review before appearing on the site.
Text Message (SMS) Program
By providing your mobile number to BYUward (for example when booking an appointment with a ward leader), you agree to receive transactional text messages such as appointment confirmations and reminders. Messages are delivered through Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), a service of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Message frequency varies and depends on your appointments.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out; reply HELP for help or contact the site administrator below.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Third-Party Services
BYUward may connect to third-party services on a ward's behalf, such as Google Calendar (for syncing ward events), Amazon Web Services / Amazon SNS (for text-message appointment reminders), an email provider, and GroupMe (as a link to a ward's existing chat). Use of those services is also subject to that provider's own terms.

This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Changes
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
